The Bolivar Fire Department is committed to providing fire prevention education as a primary responsibility to our residents, especially the children. One of our biggest "targets' s the entire Bolivar Grade School. Several years ago, we went from only addressing the indergarten student body, to addressing the entire student body.
The philosophy of the Bolivar Fire Department is to provide a basic fire education to the students in their first two years of school, and escalating their education to include the science and history of fire prevention by the time the students move on to the Middle chool.
We have received very positive feedback from both the educators and parents ever since we started this program.
